The way Ron Paul speaks is in my experience something that I have found to be very common among libertarians.. he presents his views on the world as if they are complete FACT, where this is not the case at all. Its manipulative. Really though, I suppose thats just my opinion. I see and talk to these ron paul supporters everyday and all they do is respond with ron paul rhetoric when I ask them WHY they believe what they believe.
