And the Republicans keep saying that you have to leave it up to the private sector to solve the health care crises. Well, the private sector has failed with 47 uninsured Americans.

Not only has the cost of health care gone "out of sight", but middle income families who don't qualify for medicaid but do not have on the job health insurance cannot afford to pay $600 - $1000 per month or more to cover their families.

If we can spend a trillion dollars on an unnecessary war, surely we can invest in the health care of our citizens.

As long as Americans continue to vote right-wing crazies into office, Americans *are getting the health care they deserve*.

Americans will not get proper health care unless the national bipartisan political consensus moves beyond the current accepted truths that taxes should only go down, military spending should only go up, and all domestic spending (except pork local to 'my' district) is undesirable.

In short, you're only going to get health care when Americans grow up to the point of placing greater importance on domestic services than on cutting taxes and killing foreigners.

Fat chance.
