I have been getting a lot of such warnings with Google lately, sometimes with captch and some times without, so you have nto option to continue search.
Now whenever I get slammed by this error. I just open Live Search or Yahoo Search. Screw Google!

Interesting, so it only happens if you use the SERPs scanning software? I have never encountered the problem, granted I never use any software like that.

First time it happened to me. I’ve been using google since I learned how to use the internet. My brother wanted an apple iphone so I tried to search for it and maybe compare prices and then this warning came up. I was so alarmed because it says there might be spyware or something and I just bought an item online with my credit card. I’m using yahoo to be clarified of this issue but all the sites I stumbled into are webmaster territory and I can’t understand what they’re talking about. Some say it has to do with firefox (i’m using firefox and internet explorer and it’s the same, can’t access google), some say it’s the one searching at fault because he is spamming whatever it is he is spamming. Any explanation? Do I have a spyware on my computer?

No it is not permanent. The message will stop, but first you have to stop running any SERPs checking software. It is against Google’s TOS to use their system to run any programs that checks your website’s positioning for specific search terms.

I have stopped doing this, shortly after writing this post, and haven’t received the Google warning since.

It seems to be getting worse too – I used to get once a month or so and now its once a week – I wasn’t sure if it had to do with the ISP – but as u say yahoo seems unaffected – Iquite like using dogpile too
